Before you can use your credit card to load / receive funds, you need to verify your credit card. Why? So those companies will know that it is really you who are holding the credit card, and of course, to avoid fraud.

Your credit card will be charged a little amount of money, which will appear on your next credit card billing statement. If it’s correct, your credit card will be verified.

Some payment processors may add a code to the transaction description on your credit card billing statement, and to verify your credit card, you need to enter the code.

Don’t worry, after your credit card is verified, the money will be credited back to your credit card, or on some payment processors the money will go to your account balance. So actually you don’t spend a dime to do this.

Before you verify your credit card, you can’t make any transactions. So you have to wait until your credit card billing statement to arrive. Hmm… it can take some time, maybe weeks! This is where you can use your credit card company’s hotline number. Usually on the next day you can ask the operator of how much you were charged so you can verify your credit card right away. But some payment processors forbid you to do this because it will no longer be a secret. So please carefully read your payment processors’ terms and instructions before you verify your credit card.
