The City of San Diego

san diego
I’ve never been to San Diego, California, but I’ve seen the city in movies, and of course on the internet. I really want to visit San Diego one day, when I go to the United States.

All I know, San Diego is a great and large city, it’s the second largest city in California and the eight largest city in the United States!

Here are some facts I found about San Diego:

  • It lies just north of the Mexican border - sharing a border with Tijuana - and lies south of Orange County.
  • It is home to miles of beaches, a mild Mediterranean climate.
  • It has The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and the affiliated UCSD Medical Center combined with nearby research institutes in the Torrey Pines area of La Jolla make the area influential in biotechnology research.
  • San Diego’s economy is largely composed of agriculture, biotechnology/biosciences, computer sciences, electronics manufacturing, defense-related manufacturing, financial and business services, ship-repair and construction, software development, telecommunications, and tourism.

The City of San Diego’s strong economy, diverse population, great educational institutions, unsurpassed quality of life, and world-renowned location make it the ideal place to do business, to work, and to live. Because of its highly-educated workforce and mix of high-tech industry and recreational assets, a marketing consortium of high-tech industries has dubbed San Diego “Technology’s Perfect Climate.”

Well, as tourists and travellers who have never been there, they surely will need a guide to San Diego, CA, which I’m sure can be provided by the friendly people there. Wait for me, San Diego!

Edison Chan Scandal

Written by Jimmy on Feb 27th, 2008 | Filed under: Miscellaneous, News

Do you know Edison Chan, the famous Hong Kong star? He’s big news right now because of a huge scandal he made. What is it? He took photos of naked women, and he took photos while he and each of the women made love. No, don’t get it wrong, he didn’t do it with a group of women, but with the women one by one.

OK, that’s already a big scandal. What makes it huge is, those women are very popular women in Hong Kong. Yes, they’re all famous actresses! They include Bobo Chan, Candice Chan, Cathy Leung, Cecilia Cheung, Rachel Ngan, Vincy Cheung, and maybe more! Sources says that there are more than 1700 photos!

How did the photos get out to the internet? Edison said that his notebook was being repaired, and the repair man spread the photos to the internet. The repair man is already caught by the police. Now, that’s really silly, right? Giving your notebook to a stranger while you have lots of such private photos? Hmm…

Edison already made a press conference, saying that he apologizes to the people of Hong Kong, and said that he’ll leave Hong Kong and don’t know when he’ll come back. If you want, you can search about this news and find the photos. I don’t want to provide the link here, because I don’t feel good about sharing it.

Maybe he shouldn’t leave Hong Kong, just find a cosmetic surgery specialist to do a change on his face. This will make him totally different and people won’t recognize him. So he won’t be embarassed anymore. :D

Poor Edison and those girls…
