Kids Movie
If you’re a Stephen Chow fan like me, maybe you’ll get a little dissapointed by this movie. But it’s quite funny and entertaining. First of all, Chow is not really the leading role here, but the kid playing as his son is. Secondly, I really think this movie is a kid movie, children will love it. Just my personal opinion.
The story is about a father (Chow) and a son who are very poor. They live in a very small room in an abandoned building, accompanied by cockroaches. To get clothes, or shoes, the father looks for them in a garbage dump. Very very sad..
The father works in a construction company, and his boss is a kind man, although sometimes very rough. Even though they’re poor, the father always teaches his son to live with a good moral, like never steal anything. One day, while searching for things in the garbage dump near their house, he found something interesting, a thing like a ball. He gave it to his son as a toy.
This “ball” turns out to be something extraordinary. It’s something from… well, if I tell you, it’ll huge be a spoiler
So I guess I shouldn’t tell you guys. But after this “ball” comes into their live, everything changes.
You’ll laugh and even cry when watching CJ7. Stephen Chow really has a good taste in humor, and he can make the audience feel sad too. I give my two thumbs up for him. But I just still like Kung Fu Hustle better, waiting forward for Kung Fu Hustle 2, which is planned to be released in 2010 (wow why so long?

Pure comedy & entertaining
For those who likes movies that don’t require you to do a lot of thinking, just for entertainment, this movie is for you. 100% comedy and will make you laugh
The story is about 4 buddies whose lives are bored, and in trouble. They decided to go cross country riding their Harley Davidson bikes. On the street, they meet real bikers and got into trouble. This is where the things that makes you laugh happens.
The movies is starred by 2 comedy stars Martin Lawrence dan Tim Allen. And the other 2 stars don’t usually play in comedy movies. They’re John Travolta dan William H. Macy. But I think John Travolta is very capable of doing comedy movies, his acting here is good. But the character I like the most in this movie is the one played by William H. Macy. Why? Just watch the movie, I’m sure you’ll agree with me..

Flash Point is starred by my favorite martial art action star Donnie Yen. Compared to his last 2 movies: SPL (where he fought Sammo Hung) and Dragon Tiger Gate (based on the comic book Tiger Wong), for me this movie is much much better.
The story is nothing special. A brutal but very good in fighting cop (Donnie) with his partner (Louis Koo) are hunting 3 Vietnamese gangsters brothers. Louis Koo went undercover by joining the gang. Then he was caught by the gang that he’s a cop, his girlfriend gets hurt, then get revenge… and so on… I think you know the rest.
But! The fighting scenes in this movie is unbelievable. Extraordinary! Here we can see Donnie Yen combine his Kung Fu skill (which is very very good) with a Brazillian martial art: Jujitsu. Jujitsu is like a wrestling. If you like to watch Ultimate Fighting Championship, you must be familiar with this martial art. So, in this movie Donnie shows us Mixed Martial Art.
The fight coreography (by Donnie) is just awesome, especially the one at the end of the movie where he fought one of the Vietnamese brothers (Collin Chow). I just can’t say it anymore. You have to see this movie! All I can say is that this movie is for you who like action movies, especially fighting movies, more especially for Donnie Yen’s fans like me :thumb3:

Robots War on earth
This movie is based on an old time animation with the same title. The story is quite simple, robots from outer space (not robots made by human) come to earth. They call themselves Autobots. There are 2 types of autobots, the good ones and the bad ones (of course!). They are fighting for a thing name the cube. The cube “fell” into the earth many many years ago. If the cube falls into the bad autobots, then the earth and all human beings will be destroyed.
The key to find the cube is on a sailor’s glasses. And the sailor is already dead a long long time ago. The glasses is now being held by a young man, the sailor is his great great grandfather. So this young man becomes the man who will determine the future of the earth and human beings life.
The special effects in this movie is very cool. How those robots change themselves from robots to cars are amazing. The fighting scenes between the robots are also made very well. Besides that, there are some comedy that makes the movie a bit bitter..
For me, this movie is pure entertainment, light and you don’t need a lot of thinking. Just watch and have fun. Starred by Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel (star of TV series Las Vegas) and the new idol Megan Fox. Since the movie is released, there have been a lot of discussions on the net about this sexy and beautiful Megan Fox. I’m pretty sure she’ll be the next big star.
