Why doesn’t Google like Paid Posts?
I have seen a lot of blogs that make money using Paid Posts like PaidPerPost, SponsoredReviews etc are punished by Google. Punished how? By downgrading the blogs’ Page Rank (PR). Some blogs which used to have PR 3 or 4 are now down to 0 (zero)!
This way, it’s hard for those blogs to get another paid reviews (or the ones with higher paid jobs), because the blogs are really dependant of their PR to get jobs.
Now, the question is, why does Google hate Paid Posts? In think it’s because:
- Google needs to do it for the favor of their users. When people do a search on Google, Google doesn’t want the search results to show those paid posts, as they have the tendency to be irrelevant. So Google take them out of the Search Engine Result Page (SERP).
- Google needs to protect their income. Paid Reviews are really booming these days, and Google doesn’t want advertisers to leave them.
Just my opinion. Anyone want to add another reasons?
